Since most of the time we observe fashion from an everyday work stand point, it’s always so much fun stepping out for a more swanky event! As with everything she approaches, Claire Vogel‘s unique style takes things a step further. She almost never looks like the same girl twice. She also has a way of taking thrift store finds to the next level. It amazes me that she can take what anyone might consider an antiquated prom dress and pair it with a bow tie and jacket (as she did at her work’s Christmas party). Ah, if only I could do my 20’s over again!
Claire’s ability to morph from a girl from some bygone era to a French starlet fascinates me. She can simply pair a black sheer blouse with a red crochet flower or change the color of her hair and add a beret to make you feel like you are in the room with someone you just met. That ability to alter her persona is admirable for someone so young. I suspect this ability will continue throughout her life and it’s fun to see her aesthetic carry over in her work as well.
