Think Tank Gallery, nestled in the Garment District of Downtown Los Angeles, unleashed the “Chilled Air” Skate Art Park/Group Exhibition on Saturday (June 21st).
Co-curated by artists Austin England (pictured above) and Luke Pelletier, the show features 30 painters, illustrators and sculptors all with various ties to the skateboarding world. It was a fittingly unhinged soiree to commemorate “Go Skateboarding Day” (it’s not often one finds an active ramp cutting thru the middle of a gallery space!) We stopped by to absorb some of the mayhem and offer up just a few images here from the brilliantly diverse collection of work on display. Kudos to all involved.
